Explosions, melting the skin off enemies, shooting up security cameras, making poor scientists freak out in horror as you break into their secret labs, chilling out at the rebel hideout and so on. The keyboard control scheme needs a bit getting used to but if you think you're up to the task, a ton of fun is awaiting you.
The controls in these two games are old school, if you've played games like Alone in the Dark, Little Big Adventure, Bioforge, Resident Evil etc you should be just fine. You play as the Silencer, a DRM-free crusader in red armor who was betrayed by his employer, the evil DRM Consortium, and then decides to join the freedom loving rebels and feels no regret about doing so. In these two games, you can blow off all the Steam you want - literally, as opening steam valves to let out hot steam is part of the gameplay. So you're feeling disgruntled about Steam and came running here? That's good, you are welcome! Now how about enjoying some good DRMfree games like Crusader No Remorse & Crusader No Regretwhich aren't available on Steam?
